Making a Realistic Link Building Campaign

So many times I am approached by new webmasters who want to make a link building campaign that will get their site to the top of the search engines.

That is all fine, except that these new webmasters think that having some sort of link building campaign is going to get them to #1 on the SERPs overnight.

The reality of it is that it takes a long time for a link building campaign to grow, become established and deliver constant results.

One of the reasons why so many webmasters (or web-novices) think that they can get instant results is because of the black hat SEO tactics which do get results. Of course, we real webmasters know that those results are short lived and often cause severe damage in the long run. Even if some “grey” hat SEO tactics, like automated link building campaign tools, aren’t going to be effective in the long run.

Before a link building campaign can even begin, you need to make sure that your site is at its best. That way, when the traffic really does start coming in, you can maximize your conversion rates, i.e. make sales. If your site is outstanding and just lacking traffic flow, then you can start budgeting time or resources for your link building campaign.

If you are running your link building campaign yourself, then set aside one day a week or an hour a day just for building up your links. You might also want to consider onsite methods too such as linkbaiting. If you choose to hire someone for your link building campaign, make sure that they are only supplying the highest quality links. Always remembers that a good link building campaign will eventually run itself: once traffic comes to your fantastic, useful site, then natural links will start coming too.

As a part of link building strategy you can also use text link ads brokers to get backlinks back to your sites. A lot of webmasters buy text links in addition to building links naturally. This is a good way of getting graet and quick results too.
